The annual campaign to highlight the contribution of the engineering profession to society and the many opportunities a career as an engineer offers young people touches almost every county in Ireland. In 2015 some 37,500 people took part in 527 events organised by 175 organisations. A media relations campaign to maximise the press coverage achieved during the week resulted in some 361 items in print, on radio and TV.
